was watching tv heaven tell hell the other day and this was on as someones favourite show. The indoor league been watching it and its brilliant:

Legendary lunchtime '70s fayre!

The format was basically to televise 'pub games' like arm wrestling, darts and skittles etc.
I also seem to vaguely remember seeing the odd bout of shove ha'penny.

The legendary Fred Trueman presented it from a smoke-filled pub, and always ended each show with 'AAAll Sitheee!' Which yahoo babel fish translates as 'goodbye.'

There were other great Yorkshire TV shows on a luchtime which I fondly remember such as Farmhouse Kitchen presented by the battleaxe Dorothy Sleightholme. As a pre-schooler at the time I was always impressed with her name being the longest I had ever clocked on Telly. For some reason, its music scared me shitless. So did Dorothy!

Her paintings were shite though.
Think that one came from HTV in Wales.

Now 'Play guitar with Ulf Goran' knocked shit out of them all. Legendary!
