I'm not surprised if it's about the same for a player in League Two or below, Sussex.

It's about time we beat the Germans to win something, but it's going to be tough.

Probably lower still, the majority are only part time players and have everyday jobs as well

Absolutely incredible.

In the event that we do win this on Thursday, this should be celebrated. It would be a massive achievement to beat a side such as Germany in a European final.

We should celebrate by giving them each an MBE and making the coach a Dame. Then we should have an open top bus round rossy park for all the people who will watch the game to attend.

I hope the team dont have a kit man as they probably could do the washing and ironing better than him.

Absolutely concur. Only because they are women does not mean they should be paid any less than the mens team! They are still the best players elegible to play for their respective teams. Ok so they have tits, what does that matter? It would be a remarkable achievement for them to win the final and they deserve a great deal of recognition if they do.
If the mens team won it then you would expect them to be on the front page of every newspaper going.. Whats the odds on the women even making it into the sport section?
I cannot wait until Thursday (in fact im looking forward to that even more so than the mens game on wednesday!). Im going to go out and get the beers in shortly. Even our lass who is not into football has an interest due to the womens team and will watch Thursdays game. Therefore the womens team deserve EVEN more recognition as they will attract more women to football.

Well done Englands women - your country needs you! clappp clappp clappp

I'm having a party thursday, in aid of the final, got the day off work, and the next day, cos if we win, it might get messy celebrating.

Everyone from the bunker, including POK, is welcome to come and join my WFPE (womens final party elite)

I'm with grave on this, loads more exciting than the mens game on wednesday, thats like the warm up match.
