If Chelsea want to win the League, they'll have to do it with the squad they have now.

Well yeah that was implied with the fact they have a transfer ban on them.

No, I think it will largely pass them by. Two different planets and the fact that Chelsea do owt other than sign one of them, which they can't, is irrelevant to them. confised

There's nothing happening Pools-wise today. What's wrong with the thread?

I think it may have implications this far down in the league ladder eventually. The top teams such as Chelsea and Manure (who have been doing this kind of thing for years) will get punished, preventing them from ripping off teams such as ourselves.

It seems like English football is being targeted for some harsh treatment by Platini and co.

Course it is look at the Eduardo situation how many times do you see players diving in the foreign leagues and getting away with it. Will be good to see how many times Ronaldo gets away with cheating for Real Madrid.

for things like this, it's deserved. It's about time they levelled the playing field.

Eduardo dived. No doubt about it. He should be punished as should all the other cheating feckers who've been doing it for years.

I was saying to our kid at the match on Saturday that when we were getting into football (early 80s) diving was non-existent. Things like play-acting and trying to get other players sent off rarely happened. You have to wonder what the people in charge of these clubs are actually telling players.

The one thing Pools don't do (rightly or wrongly) is dive, bait the referee and play act. It might mean a few less points on the board and a few less goals scored but it is admirable.
