We needed an ambulance to get a flying jump off Morrisons roundabout and fly over the town end straight onto the pitch like this.....

PoK, I am relatively new here, but one of the first things to strike me is that you appear to be as thick as a whale omelette (c Blackadder). Or are you a plant by the powers that be, who needed a poster to annoy everybody else, particularly those who have a rough idea how the world we live in works?

I was at a featureless service station carpark when the Norwich result came through, I sat there stunned and pale with shock. A passing (old) lady offered me a consolation smile, but news of a result like that is very bitter. The rest of my journey up the A-1 was in silence and disbelief !

When I said that, I meant more intensive treatment at a hospital and not anything like First Aid.

Heard this morning at work a workmate's wife had to x ray his face as he had lost inches of his forehead and top of his head. He scraped the ground head first as his feet were held on the rail .
he got transferred to james cook for plastic surgery.................. poor sod . bet he's a looker now!

Am I the only one concerned with, according to the radio, how long it actually took for the referee to think of calling a halt to the game so that the ambulance could come on?
