my cousin is at reading and said they were great, played "their sex is on fire" to me on the phone my response was they have sold out and are now shit.

Their first two albums were great, spilral staircase and joes head were great songs, there actions of the recent years shoes they have played up to the masses, does anyone else like their new stuff?

The latest album is pretty good but the one before was fairly poor, I have to agree the first 2 albums are excellent. I saw them at Newcastle City Hall a few years ago when they were promoting the 2nd album and they were brilliant

in fairness, the first 2 songs (Closer and Crawl) on the new album are superb

I never used to like them but I saw them at the V Festival last year and those 2 songs stood out a mile as 'huge' sounding songs. All about production I suppose!

Not too keen on the two songs you posted, but like I said, I wasn't keen on them in the early days.

Dunno really.

I was at glastonbury last year and was walking past the pyramid stage as they came on. The first song they played was Crawl and I was impressed by the sound of it (considering I was right at the back of the field). It sounded pretty epic.

I then decided to watch them at the V Festival and the two songs that stood out were those two. I like Mollys Chambers as an example of their earlier stuff.

I'm listening to Sibelius at the moment, and have no idea what you're all talking about.

"Sex on Fire" for me is one of the most ridiculous songs in recent times to be released - for me, right up there with Rihanna's "Umbrella" and The Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha.

"Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa, your sexxxxxxxx is on fIIIIIIERRRR"

What kind of lyrics are they? rolfl

Yep, I did get that point from Michael McIntryre - the trailer for showing Live at the Apollo is running on Dave and they are showing that clip in it.

He's a very smart comedian.

I'll be totally honest with you, Hawklord - no, it isn't.

It was probably the worst record he made out of all of them.

People on here will tell you that.

The newer Kings Of Leon stuff I think is fairly average or as someone said mediocre. The older stuff like Fans, Molly Chambers, Red Morning Light etc are really good tracks.

I'm a fan of their older music but the new stuff isnt as much for me

Everytime my daughters mam pulls up to drop the youngun off in her chavvy sports car she has kings of leon blasting, thats the level there fashion music is reaching.

You know a bands sold out when they play there songs in nexus, nuff said!!!

I'm with compo i loved the first 2 albums, but since then they've turned into sex symbols, no one even knew the singer had a face for the first 3 years now he's rolling about in videos with his top off so all the indie cindy lasses can drool over him and they sell more records.
