Perhaps after the embarrasment of the the BN song after Behans goal that they have decided against individual music?

Hopefully they do away with that horrific We are the Monkeys song too banghead

You lot must have low 'embarrassment' threshold if you do indeed get embarrassed by a tune played after a song

Whinge like fooking fookercunts for fooking cnuting months about Tom Hark and now it starts again

Want ‘embarrassment’? get along the A66 to White Elephant

its the fact that it was played at least 4 times for no apparent reason. Out of the hundreds if not thousands of fantastic songs that have been written and recorded over the last 60+ years you would think our play-list would allow a bit of variation!

There is a link to the song by the Monkees, go on, have think about it, like, it is after all a harmless bit of fun, like

But to be fair, the usual cockends on this board are churning up inside because so far this season they have had little to bang the gum about, so eventually they found something

It's all true, no-one has been able to call Turner or West or <insert name of whipping boy here> a bounder yet, so chuntering about the run out song is the next best thing

It's a fooking harmless song

Especially for you Mr Avenger...

talbot answer me this : why do we have to have a fooking song played immediately before we kick off, whenever we score, at the end of a game, even when we have lost, even ffs when we have been relegated ?

why do we have to have the sound of some z list radio presenters tossing themselves off in the centre circle booming through the speakers at half time ?

is it because the americans do it at their sporting events ?

i can just about handle a few records being played before the game and at half time but thats about it.

people should be able to celebrate watching their team score a goal however they see fit, not all clapping along in unison like performing seals to some archaic piece of shiit music.

football should be entertaining enough to stand on its own two feet without having to have its own soundtrack.

now thats just my opinion, and im entitled to express it, and let me 100 per cent assure you, that if you continue to abuse people on here for no good reason other than that their opinions differ from yours, then you will be banned, and next time it wont just be for a couple of days .

you have a brain inside your head so try using it to argue your point.

clappp

Abuse them for no good reason?

Jesus wept, how the hell is it embarrassing?

It happens everywhere now, I'm not overly fond of it, but is not going to change, is it?

My two nephews love it, shall I chastise them for it as well?

Other people on this board, ya kna, the clickty clickers, get away with multiple ID's, calling other 'folk' bounders and so forth and not an eyelid is batted

Odd innit?

PS

I have tried to 'argue my point', with the 'brain inside my head', but it seems a lot of people aren't able to follow that simple fact

Entrance music is all well and good and serves a purpose but we don't need music after every fukking Pools goal. Also if there has to be music during the pre match huddle it should be 2 little boys......

I have it on good authority that John Orley is only 92 and i would hope the songs are loaded from a laptop or MP3 these days, although it Pools it is likely to still be cassette's .....

Sham 69. If the kids are United.

Great song and pools running out to it is original, and different from others, who like classical music to get the crowd going.

:coool:

Even though I think its good a tune heres a little article you may be interested in...

TWO life-long Newcastle United fans yesterday spoke of their pride at hearing their own music played as the team’s new pre-match song.

Trevor Cox and Ian Barnes are members of up-and-coming North-East band The Longsands, whose version of The Blaydon Races is now played as the team runs on to the pitch before the game and at the start of the second half.

It was played for the first time at Saturday’s match against Portsmouth, replacing Sham 69’s If the Kids Are United and its predecessor, Mark Knopfler’s theme from Local Hero, called Going Home.

http://www.journallive.co.uk/north-east ... -20072337/

Maybe it will please the hordes of barcodes that attend the vic regular....

Stick with the Monkees at least there is a connection.... sort of..

I took junior to St James Park when they played Celtic a couple of seasons ago.. They announced they where dropping Local Hero to an uproar from the crowd... I think it was one of the many improvements Mike Ashley has brought to Newcastle in the last few seasons

Whay hey we're the Monkees!!
