It sounds like a new term for "Happy Slapping" only on the internet!

so you are saying in happy slapping, that the people who do the slapping are brighter than the one recieving the slap. An analogy to far there snowy

Which is forthcoming and is.... it's written in plain English in the first place and is not an analogy. However, for the more cerebrally challenged iot, it translates as ... 'The ones taking the mick, are sometimes thicker than the one they take the mick out of'... anyone incapable of understanding that is a oaf....

Infact we are wrong and these shows are great and he is right?

You mock what you don't understand and let's be honest. you're 'lifestyle' as regaled to us on the board consists of getting pissed, on cheap booze, visiting pound shops,... and er that's it. I can't see youy selling the rights of the book.

I understand them shows whole heartedly, i understand that they are awful!!

My life consists of a whole lot more than that, i simply 'chose' to frequent a shop for cheep booze from time to time, simple really, why pay more for beer and energy drinks when you can get exactly the same for less?

If you prefer to pay more for the same product then your mug!

Stick your analogies up your arse!!!

This board used to be good, a witty, understated board that relied on subtlety and good humour without malice.. It has now lost that quality after reading the comments on this post and it's also lost me .. by the way, the word you should all look for is 'bullying' in POK's case. You pick on what you perceive to be the weakest poster who doesn't conform to your jack the lad 'lifestyles'(as if ) and then will probably turn round and say you were only joshing... heard it all before.
Death of a decent board.

I have to say I havent "bullied" PoK since I decided it went to far about two months ago, and to be honest was a bit annoyed I didnt go and shake his hand at MK dons (the main reason is becasue he was sat over the other side of the ground and I was hungover). Jack the lads life style what are you on about I think PoK is good to stand on his points about not drinking etc, my girlfriend doesnt drink or smoke etc and fair play to anyone who want to have this way of life.

You may think that people have lost the quality but I dont its picked up in the last month. I also think that you assume everyone on here is an idiot just becasue they arnt as ellequant as yourself. If you got down off your high horse and remove yourself for the self appointed oricle position of the board you will see that its all just banter and this is a brilliant board.

I think you put your last point in to see how many people say come back snowy we love you

You're wrong, alive and kicking, great comment about recent Pool's games for instance. It's not for you to pronounce on the health/death of the bunker.

Perhaps the answer to all this is to create a Junior Bunker, so that the apprentices can squabble between themselves whilst learning a bit of nous, self-discipline and wit. Then the the rest of us won't have to witness the jejeunity.

When a junior feels ready, s/he can present himself before a panel of Bunker Experts for assessment for full membership. Yeah, that's it....I'll mention the idea to Mr I. :coool:

I dont want to see anyone leave and dont know why anyone would, the bunker is better with lots of different people with opposing points and opinions. But just simpily saying I am leaving this is crap if a bit like spitting your dummy out. Why do people think they are "bigger" than the board or any individuals, just becasue people might be "established" and old members their opinion is no greater than a person who has just joined. Granted they may know a few more people personally and be in this so called cliche or the alan power fan club but there opinion and place on here is no greater than anyone else.

I'd wager that the origin of that word was French.

Thank you. I made the word up myself, but using standard noun-forming procedure from the adjective 'jejune' (which I mis-spelt so that someone could have the thrill of correcting me).

Latin via French. :coool:

This board will keep going for the benefit of the 1000 other people registered on here.

This board has went along fine since Monty left and would do the same if snowy did.

He's speaking out his arse as always compo.

10 people could leave this board, it wouldnt make a difference.

Pools will stay play every Saturday and people will still comment on it, music will still be listened to and commented on, biscuits will still be debated about, people will die to comment on etc etc.

This board drives itself!! clappp

Compo, seriously, you're mistaken in thinking it's an age-thing. That's just a long-running joke, surely. First off, using the board to pokmok anyone isn't allowed. You've accepted that. But I don't think Yubep has
I think some of the replies on this thread, particularly from Yubep, are irritating, offensive and, erm, jejune, and if he seriously thinks that Mr I will continue to run the board if posts like his drive off other bunkerites, then he's very much mistaken, I think

I agree Mr I does pay for the board for the rest of us but can I say why? I want to know how much this is a year I am not questioning the amount or the fact he pays it out of his own pocket but why don’t we all chip in. If its about £200 a year I for one would gladly pay towards it.

Then all this well Mr I pays for this that etc it would be a democracy and all of us in the same boat

I would gladly contribute to the cost if Mr I suggested such a thing.

Would we all take an equal share in running it as well? Because, from what I can remember, Mr I isn't so much concerned about the cost, more about the time and effort in keeping things going, and wondering if it was worth the effort.

ps I would also be prepared to pay a 'sub' to keep the Bunker in place.
