Lucky fucking cheating dirty bastards!!

Pools were simply outstanding tonight (barring first 25mins) and how we didnt win that is beyond me. Totally undeserved and every player for us tonight was a credit to this club. Total commitment, fight and energy and gave everything they possibly could.

Straight away with Jones in the middle we looked more solid and actually had a midfield and he looked great. I havent been Mcsweeney biggest fan but he was awesome tonight, never seen anyone run so much. Liddle superb and Collins gave a faultless performance and easily motm for me. Hartley had a great second half. Monky was back to his best also. Heard some bounders slagging Behan off who to be fair probabaly wasnt at his best but was involved in everything we did and without him the ball wouldnt have stuck upfront.

I wish they had dropped Bikey as he was a rock.

Well done all concerned!

clappp clappp clappp

That spell at the end where Behan had 2 free kicks was one of the funniest things i've seen at a football match.

We are gelling well, we will only get better!

I agree, an elbow to the skull or something that is dangerous then i agree but a ball in the face?? ffs the whole point of him standing there is to block the ball!!!!

My point entirely, what has the game come to?

Next the person who booted the offending 'weapon' will be getting sent off for violent conduct. What Burnley resorted to late in the game was an embarrassment to their Premiership status but a great credit to our performance.

fantastic game, fantastic performance all round. Monky lidds and collins joint motm 10 out of 10 for the 3 of them! We atleast deserved a penalty shoot out!! That fee kick incident was canny funny like, but so was monkhouse skinning that ginger twat eckersley 3 times in the space of 10 seconds when going down the wing, the ginger bounder trying his best to foul monky, only to keep getting continously skinned, then getting sent off refred

If carling made footy games...... clappp clappp clappp

Also we need to get a nasty ruthless streak as it is the only way forward. We should be more inclined to commit the odd cynical foul or two - especially when we are in the lead and getting stretched. Every ther team does it. Also the odd pretend injury or two to break the game up - it is unsporting but other teams do it..... i'm still pissed off and raging a bit but also happy with the performance sctatchinghead

Surely the Burnley guy would have cottoned on after Behan's first free kick. Hang on, what happened the last time I stood here? But no. And I'm glad he did cotton on, it wouldn't have made the moment even half as funny as it was.

They were just time wasting - twice we were in good positions and the referee stopped the game both times. On the first restart they kicked the ball into touch in our half! Poor refereeing again - every home again we have had crap refs so far this season. Lets hope we get someone fair against Norwich or is that too much to ask for...

Did understand the point about bad refereeing stopping the game when we were in good positions, but with respect to the point about them kicking the ball back into touch in our half the ref has no control of that at all.

Personally I reckon it should be classed as unsporting behaviour. Kicking it to a defender on the halfway line would be one thing, kicking it past him and into the stand was taking the piss. It was good to see the referee restart with a contested dropball after the second stoppage.

Totally agree and good to see the ref had a drop ball in the second instance, the ref can do nothing not even caution the player regarding were the player kicks the ball back to under the laws of the game. Look at the times when a goal has been awarded when a player has kicked it back to the keeper and it has went in.

bRISTOL rOVERS WERE A DISGRACE LAST WEEK IN GETTING THE GAME STOPPED EVERY TIME THERE WAS A THREAT TO THEIR GOAL - SO THEY WERE HITTING THE DECK LIKE FLIES BECAUSE THE REF ALLOWED THEM TO GET AWAY WITH IT. tHE INJURIES WERE NOT SERIOUS ENOUGH TO STOP THE PLAY AGAIN LAST NIGHT BUT THE REF DID SO ANYWAY. i WONDER IF PLAY WOULD HAVE BEEN HALTED AT THE OTHER END.....

shite caps lock but I can't be arsed to type it again!!!

The only way forward is for us to do the same - a very sad state of affairs in the modern game...

The ref can't stop one team from contesting a drop ball though, can he?

I know it's sportsmanship and all that, but there have been several recently when we've been fully within our rights to contest it, but haven't - just get stuck in I say, what can they do?

i was disappointed with the referees consistancy as not many times in football does exactly the same incident happen and the referee managed to come up with two different decisions.
