i'm well impressed with the defence. thats now nearly 200 minutes without letting a goal in. last season we would have let in 4 or 5 in the same time frame.

Just seen the goal on Sky Sports News and he took it really well, nice control on the chest and a clinical volley gave Dimi no chance

Cov v Pool 0-1

Not a great game but the job got done ! Reasonable turnout for Pool though the Cov fans stayed away. Don't know which Pool official was handing out free complimentary tickets but I was pleased he gave one to me ! Pool fans made a bit of noise and the banter was good.
Boyds goal was well worth worrying over and the lads hung on well, Cov threatened a few times and Flinders made an amazing punch to save one shot.

On a personal note , I was pulled up by a gaggle of ex students (cov fans) " Sir , we saw you go mental when Hartlepool scored" . I certainly did and will talk about this game next term...in great detail ! clappp

Created better oppurtunities during the 90mins.
Only bad thing is
I didnt get to see the legend that is LAWRENCE!!!!! Must of stayed at home trying improving his and his mums look.

Behan had a quiet game , was impressed with Fredriksen he's a nimble player though he too had a quiet game. Still...job done, bring on Burnley....whoever they are !!!

Ha not complaining, we could of fielded a stronger team if it wasnt down to injuries and international call ups, but im not saying the result would differ, Coleman put a team out that he thought could beat Hartlepool, and overall the better team on the night :)

Good luck against Burnley, should beat them.
