Seems like we matched them for most of the game.
Going into the game we where 3rd favourites to go do down, MK where 3rd favourites to go up.
Quality result clappp clappp
Oh and a 100% clean sheet record for Flinders  clappp

I'm sorry, but thats possibly the biggest load of crap I've heard so far this season.

Anybody else who was actually AT the game care to take me through those 3 missed sitters??

The bloke was only quoting what he heard on the radio. The Bunker at it's most welcoming.

Take it or leave it Son. Why not read some of the many reports on here of people who attended? The radio was wrong, if it said that at all. There were NOT 3 "Sitters" missed by our players yesterday, endof.

BTW, if anybody doesn't like "The Bunker At It's Most Welcoming", then they are quite entitled to leave.

We, that's the original people who STARTED The Bunker, are taking it back from the goons that have dragged it down to sub-Rivals shite in the past 6 months. I look forward to your resignation.[/quote]

Fair enough.

McSweeney's (if it was McSweeney) appeared to be an air shot from a Collins long throw, in the first half.

Liddle's was a header from a corner, again in the first half
In the first half Pools were attacking the goal at the other end from the Pools fans.

Behan's was an air shot from a Jones pull back (which I don't think he was expecting), from the edge of the D,
in the second half

None of them were sitter's

Oh, and welcome back Mr Dunn, you've been sadly missed.

He didnt mate. Ivan Ash just gets overexcited.

Not once in his commentary did he make it sound like were ever under pressure, nor did he make it sound like pools had missed any sitters.

As usual some people looking for the merest hint of something to moan about.

You have stated that Scott Flinders did all he needed to do, and did it very well, yet one of the goons has still questioned him.

Sorry, did I say goons, I do apologise.

I should have said whingers.

I didn't myself take poolie 95's comment as a whinge, merely a comment, inviting information. He posted this comment just after 5, before anyone had posted any match reports.
Mr Norge, who has always been one of the best posters here, doesn't deserve to be responded to like that, just for making a polite point.

I was listening to Ivan hAsh on Tees yesterday while I was watching Hartlepool FC on the enclosure - thankfully Borer weren't playing so I was spared from having to listen to Brownlie rattle on (I am looking forward to him saying 'of course Borer being an established Championship side' though!). I did hear hAsh say that Behan made an air-shot at one point. It's best not to take him at his word though as he generally talks a load of shiite.

This Behan air shot is on the extended highlights. It came at him like a cannonball and he was on the wrong foot. I suppose Boydy or James Brown might have had quick enough feet to do something with it but it certainly wasn't a 'sitter.' confised

I was there and cant remember us having a sitter at all the only point I would make was Flinders pulled off a good save from the free kick in the second half other than that he had nothing to do.

Oh and its the first time I been to MK dons nearly drove past the stadium as it looks half finished from the outside.

Then you thought 'Hang on a minute there can't be a half finished stadium AND a completed one in this sh*thole, so this must be it!'

correct it was so sterile and just lifeless.

the bloke in the pub that enigma tavern told us to park on the industrial estate so well done to him saved us a few quid. Also the steak and ale pie was nice

I've looked at the extended highlights on the BBC twice now, and still haven't seen any Behan 'airshot'

It was one of our best moves of the game. We opened them up through the middle and switched the ball to Jones inside the box on the right. He shaped to shoot and then squared it to Behan. It came at him a bit quickly and it looked like he tried to shift his right foot out of the way to take it with his left, by which time it was past him.

Just discovered the extended extended highlights on Pools World, didn't expect them to be on yet. Bit weird watching it with no sound, and then suddenly bursting into life with the 'theme' music at the end. sctatchinghead
