Supporters vs Rovers...

tomorrow at Grayfields for the Arthur Gibbon Memorial Cup. It'd be nice if some of the Bunker could come along and support a fellow Bunkerite. I'll be donning the blue and white of Supporters and I'm available for selection. It should be a good game!

i be there but its rovers for me my lad plays for u lot so im shouting for rovers :grin:

Ahhh Rovers, a wonderful team who are allowed to take your pitch on greys if there's isn't playable.

Lovely rules that.

Good cause
I grew up in the same area as Arthur (Faulder Road / Windermere Road)
Also crossed swords with him when he was managing Stranton, in the Sunday League.

Didn't know there was a Memorial Cup, hope it's well supported

They pay no more pitch fees than anyone else.

If they pay more than us there welcome to have any pitch they like, they can have my back garden.

like most sports certain teams seem to get priority over others not right but does happen

Yeah he works with me now at corus been there about 6-7 years now. He just started playing again last couple of season but he takes ages to get changed with all his strapping and all that lol thought you might have found him on facebook he's on there but is in Majorca now for two weeks.
