I would have preferred blue socks and also the back not to be solid. Just minor gripes, I like the strip on the whole.

It's ok. Not much more I can say really. How's that for sitting on the fence?

OK pretty much sums it up. Not brill but not cack.

I'm more disappointed that they don't appear to be doing baby sizes. They make them for other clubs so it is obviously a conscious decision by Pools not to order any.

Its shyte. Why don't they go back to stripes instead of 1 stripe.

The red and black away one (but blue and white) would have been super smart and ideal.

Its not great although we have had worse.

As has been said plenty of times, the club should consult with the fans as they will be the ones buying it. (LOL, silly me, as if!)

ps, I know the images are out of proportion making the players look fat anyway, but look at the size of Behans belly in the second last pic!

As everyone said its ok, I think a collar would improve the look of the strip. I am not a fan of the no-collar look.

One of the best designs of the back of a shirt that we've recently had.

I think white socks set the kit off perfectly and I don't think blue socks would have gone with this kit myself.

So far, I don't the design looks like it has been chosen from a catalogue, but the design clearly says "We're a Football League club", and I think that's perfect about the design.

I'm not too sure about the design on the shoulders.

Overall, I think it could grow on me.

To be honest, I would rather them wear nothing, and just play in their birthday suit. We could see who has the biggest nob in the team. clappp

Bag o shite. It just looks like the blue and white halved one we had a couple of years ago. There again, I don't buy or wear the shirts so I suppose my opinion on them is moot.

I agree, the back of a shirt is very important, and the back of this shirt is fantastic.

Players from opposing teams will be chasing our players but will be fantastically put off by how smart the back is.

Fairly indifferent tbh.
I don't think it's exactly screaming - 'Play-offs here we come!', but then we've had worse...that Centenary kit springs to mind. Non-descript, i thought.

But most of us would be buying them as you say

Its not good enough, it's too expensive, they didn't ask me about the design, it has been released at the wrong time, the blue in the stripes isn't blue enough, I bet there isn't enough in stock, I bet if I spill the bloody expensive non-homemade pies down the front Pools won't pay the cleaning bill

Sunderland only charge £25 for their shirts, Chris Turner is a bounder

And so on

No I don't thins it's 'big & clever', it is a mere synopsis of the dogcack spouted regarding the new shirt in the past couple of days

I mean, if you are a 40 year old man and can only have the shirt on your birthday, I would pack it all in now

I havent had a shirt for about 10 years, and the only place I wear that one is in the gym.

But the majority of opinions on the shirt are positive yet you seem on turning the thread into a bitch session. Whatever makes you happy I suppose though.
