...was completely ruined by the referee.

Fair enough Dimi was totally to blame for their first which was Hereford's first attack.

I don't know why he gave a penalty. The ball was played through, Nelson and striker chased it but Dimi collected comfortably. Then it appeared that the stiker ran into the back of Nelson and hit the deck. Now, if that is obstruction, shouldn't it be an indirect free kick?

Anyway, we peg it back to 2-1, ironically it looked like Browny handled it before shooting. We continue to attack. A ball splits the defence, Eifion (I think) is certain to get to it before the keeper but he is tripped. Straight red surely? Not from our friend in black.

The game was riddled with inconsistencies from the ref and both linos. I hope they mix up their vaseline with Ralgex. Tackles from behind by Hereford went unpunished. Elbows, shoves, shirt pulling etc weren't spotted on several occasions.

We should not have been beaten 3-1. The penalty was their second attempt at goal. Their third was scored on the break while we had committed too many men forward.

We did not miss Ritchie. Matty offers far more on the left. Brackstone played better than he has for a long time. Liddle looks quality, he had a bit of a shaky start but once he got settled he drove several attacks by bringing the ball out of defence. I would love to see him in central midfield, as he looks as if he can exert a lot of influence on players around him.

Porter looked more hungry than he has done previously this season. His shoulders didn't go down much and he looked generally more up for it. Browny should score many more this season. Eifion had his best game for a long time. Sweeny got himself in the box a few times. Bullock looks like a different player to last season. I really hope Daz Williams stays. Even if he wants away for whatever reason you cannot fault his performance.

It WILL come good for us, I think dropping Humphries has shook the others up and made them want to win. I've said it before but this season reminds me of the one where we were bottom in November and went on to finish 7th. Someone WILL get a tonking from us soon and we WILL climb the table.

After the game I was full of anger for the officals (and still am) but not for the performance.

Keep the faith!

Agree with nearly everything PoolieinNottingham has stated.

I'm getting tired of saying/typing this, but again we didn't deserve to lose and instead should have won. Of course, we don't get any points for this - but for all those who couldn't make it down to Hereford - don't be too disheartened.

We played decently again today. The real problem was that we had a lot of the ball but were really missing someone to pull the strings and play the ball to feet. Too often we ran out of ideas and hit it long into the channel as seems to be the way in this division.

Brackstone looked OK at LB, but to be honest he wasn't seriously tested by Hereford. I was disappointed with Robson - he didn't really get going and looked like he didn't know where he should be or what his responsibilities were as a winger. In my opinion, Brackstone and/or Robson should have been able to close down the crosser of the ball for their first goal, but he was left alone and put in a decent ball. Granted, from here Nelson looked like he was going to win the header. I think Dimi was surpirsed that Nelson didn't clear it and fumbled an unexpected attempt on goal. Still, the cross should not have come in so easily.

Effion wasn't much better on the other wing. Too often running away from the ball down the line when D Williams really just wanted to role it out to his feet and build an attack.

Anyway - this is turning a bit negative. It's not meant to. Don't despair, we looked a decent side again today. Bullock had the best game I've seen, Joel worked hard (prob should have scored right at the death), Brown came on and looked dangerous - and added that creativity we had been missing, D Williams put in probably about 10 great first time crosses in the 2nd half alone but never once did we look like winning the header. Good crosses though.

As PoolieinNottingham says, Liddle looked like a proper footballer. We've got Clark as CB so I would love to see Liddle in CM or RM. I'm sure he can give us some good options in those positions.

We will turn this around.

All of the back four played well..............yet we conceded 3.

We looked good but only scored one.

Sorry guys..................but I know longer care about HOW good we look. I just want three points. Its time to get ugly. And that team hasnt got it in them.

The situation has got so bad now, winning a home game is no longer enough. Cos I still expect us to lose the next away game. .

Well said Mr Dibble, enough is enough

How do we know that you're actually who you say you are?? And therefore how do we know that you have a cupboard at all?? And furthermore, how do we know that there's room for the faith in that alleged cupboard?? And thereafter how do we know that you aren't the little girl who cried wolf??

I think we should be told. :uhoh:

100% correct.

Wilson is to blame for Saturday. There are no 2 ways about it.

He split up a perfectly good defensive partnership. How many times have Clark and Nelse let in 3 goals together?

Sweeney and Bullock is a crap midfield partnership and Eiffion is crap on the right wing. Instead of buying fucking defenders, why doesn't he sign a fricking right winger or a left back?

IOR need to push the boat out and sign a Gabba/Watson/Windass experienced type centre forward to lead the line because quite frankly despite having 3000 attackers at the club, not one can lead the line. However, they weren't prepared to spend the 1700 Joachim wanted, so what chance do we have?

He also stated in the Mail that Proctor was included because he played well on Tuesday, well I couldn't have heard anymore contrasting opinions from Burnley. Once again on Saturday, he was shit. Foley did more last Saturday than Proctor ever has, so why persist with Proctor? If a person like Danny Wilson, who has been in the game I'm guessing 20+ years can't see that Michael Proctor is an inept footballer then we don't have a frigging chance this season.

Things better improve and soon.

No. Whats there to be happy about? We're 4th bottom of Division 4 for fucks sake. Then our esteemed leader won't even let the players give interviews after the match to explain themselves. Why not?

There is only one employee of HUFC that I have one iota of respect for at the moment and thats Micky Nelson. The rest can go shag themselves.

But they interviewed Joel after the Burnley game?? Does that mean there's a pattern emerging here??
