there are players at pools purely because the chairman rates/likes them, not because they are of any use. theres players been given contracts in the past who had zero chance of playing regular first team football. e.g clarke, barron, bullock and next season mckay.

as for robson and porter they were both offered deals by pools but went elsewhere so i fail to see how this supports your argument. you would have been better off using effy williams as an example.

Robson and Porter where offered take or leave it deals they chose to leave it.. I thought that was the whole point of what I was saying... Maybe Humps is not on as much money as you all think...

Richie is not good enough to be first choice left-back, but until the club buy a new one - that's where he'll stay. Turner knows this, whcih is why he tried to sign Rose.

I can't see what slagging him off achieves - it won't make him play any better.

He gets the benefit of the doubt because of the service he's given us - which is why his mistakes are not picked on in quite so much detail as others.

I wish him well, and hope he can perform to the best of his ability when he's called upon - that's all we can ask of him - and if it's not good enough, we have to look to Chris Turner to sort it out.

slagging off the opposition their fans, the ref etc is fine but to slag off one of YOUR TEAMS players because you dont rate him is nothing short of pathetic.

I think it says a lot about todays society.

And no its not because its lord humphreys or anything like that, its because any decent human being would show another human being some everyday bog standard respect.
