cant see someone seriously paying £5800 for that coin, it wont even be worth that amount in 100 years

Apparently it could be worth more..

Its the 1st time in around 300years that a coin has accidentally been released without a date.

Well, the Two Pence that was released with the words 'New Pence' on it are only worth £200 so I find it hard to beleive that these would be going for £5,800, this guy who is 'selling' it got his mates to bid on it and made it go up that quickly. No one in the right mind would pay that much for 20p i'd pay 20p........ I also thought it was illegal to sell money more than its actually worth (providing its current tender)?

I could understand the high value being put on these 20p's if 10 of them had been issued, but up to 200,000 could be out there, that's not rare!
