Is there a lager that doesnt taste of piss?

Ice Gold was pretty bad like.

So was Hansa.

For me you should only drink lager out of bottles. Stella is OK, as is San Miguel. Most of the others are fookin rank.....especially Budweiser.

Certainly can! I had a few mishaps as a result of Crown ale. rolfl Strangely I don't think it was that strong original gravity-wise, about 5% or something? But it certainly hit the spot.

I remember working in the Spotted in Elwick and Alec, the owner, infomed us that we were to stop selling Crown snakebites as young uns were necking a few and then causing bother. Feck me - 2 of them and I was nearly mortalled, should have come with a government health warning.

Young lad comes in next night and asks for a crown snakebite.

"Nah mate, told we cannt sell 'em"

Waited a while and asked for a half of crown in a pint glass and a bottle of cider.

"Nah lad, you're just going to make a snakebite"

Looks really p1ssed off, goes away and comes back 5 minutes later looking really smug and asks for a pint of crown and a pint of cider!!

Fecking dullard...

Was Crown Ale the one they brought out for the Silver Jubilee?

Oh aye, it was a bit like Websters. Embarrassment juice.

There was (camerons) centenary ale that was fally down juice and that was re-incarnated as jubilee ale (or seemed to be).

I remember having to go home from the windsor disco seriously wrecked at about 9.30pm after drinking it :uhoh:
