I don't necessarily blame him for looking for a lucrative contract to see out his playing days but I think the Championship may be a step too far for him. If he struggled in League One last year then he will find it a lot tougher again at the next level...

just felt like calling him a traitor, if he wants to leave goodbye to him, get someone in who wants to play for the club. i think hartley will be good replacement tho.

Well i think you should take back the traitor comment, he is well within his rights to leave for free, he's given us good service, helped us to cardiff, helped us get promoted, let's be respectful to the guy.

I think the problem in Nelson's case is that all this "will he won't he" business has happened once too often,
That's why a lot of us are thinking, Nelse, if you really are going then just go and take your hair with you.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Monty. I would like to see him stay but I do think the club should give him a deadline and stick to it.

If we let the hair go, but kept Nelson we might have a decent centreback again.

But he is worse than foookin Drogba, and Ronaldo.

Its every foookin season with him.

Just go Nelse, go. Go on, foook off.
