Sound like a load of closet mackems to me (I bet you're all from yakker land well apart from parmo who is of course from Hartlepool).. You'll soon change your choon when Big Al is lending all his fringe players to his second most favourite club...

I can't remember ever having much of an issue with Newcastle United. They have regularly sent a decent strength side for friendlies. My problem is, and always has been, with the hartlepool mag. That won't change any time soon.

Similar here. I have no issue whatsoever with Newcastle, and since I don't live within their sphere of contamination, the only barcode supporters I know are all Geordies and they are fine.

Having said that I AM glad Newcastle went down, but it's purely out of self-interest

a) it can only help eradicate Hartlepool pubmags
b) we might get some very useful fall-out, mightn't we

Nobody. Directly.

( I agree, it would be worth a shudder )

Don't think anyone is....

Newcastle have always helped us out in the recent past far more than either Sunderland or the other wankers we kept in the league..

It may be of benefit to us if we manage get some quality loan players here due to a "special" relationship with Newcastle (even if it does mean we have to have a big welcome to the board picture of Big Al in the Centenary Suite)

Come on the loiq's (and before you say it hasn't done them much good) have been doing this thing with the Boero's for years..
It won't do us any harm if we manage to get some GOOD local talent (even if it is on loan) from our neighbours instead of the donkeys / mecenary donkeys we've had on loan over the last few years....

Hold on a minute.

Are we talking about the same thing here?

If the skunks offered us some decent players on loan, and not 17 year old skinny kids, and they added something then thats perfectly OK.

But if we have "special" arrangement, would it mean these players have to have a game?

And would we be forced to take more than we actually want?

And would that upset the moral of the pools players.

So GOOD loan players = great idea.

Special arrangement = No thanks we dont want to be your feeder club.

And we know how much KH loves the skunks.

I agree on that as well ..playing bambi antwi showed how stupid this idea would be!

Yes you're right we don't want to be their feeder club.."special" RELATIONSHIP", where it is to the mutual benefit of all parties is a definite YES from me

Special arrangement..such as we're had before with other clubs where a loanee is played to the detriment of the team is and always was a big FAT NO from me.. Ok ..so are we clear what I'm talking about?

Totally agree John! I dont think for one second a club can force another club into how many games a player plays. I know a recent case of Craig Gordon at Sunderland if he made X amount of appearances for the club they then owed the Scottish club he bought them from a fair bit of cash. I dont think that applies to Loan players
