It's just a display icon, not all sites have them, like the BBC has a mini BBC next to it, purely aesthetic like.

Its called a "favicon" which is just basically an icon associated with a site when you add it to your favourites. Most sites have em' nowadays.

Seems to work a lot better in FireFox rather than IE.

Its a default one set by PHPBB who provide the look and feel of the Bunker. Mr I could change it if he wanted to
