Diving happens too often. People now say it's part of the game. No it's NOT a part of the game, it's part of being a cheating bounder.

When you play football as a kid, the only thing in your mind is scoring goals. That is the aim. I've never seen a kid take I dive and I never did it either. It was never even a consideration.

What i'm trying to say is that it has to be something that you are taught and it must be eradicated. Any clear instances pf cheating should bring an automatic 15 game ban. That would provide an onvernight solution to the problem.

The fact that measures such as these not being considered says to me that the FA and footballs governing bodies are happy for teams to cheat and players like Lafferty and Ronaldo will continue to get away with it. These are the role models for our kids whether we like it or not.

I would take it a step further - a panel should sit and carry out points deductions if cheating has been cited. Then the managers and coaches would instill it into their team not to cheat full stop.

There is an easier way to stop all this and it comes down to the managers, could you see Clough etc allowing this type of behaviour, NO! It requires managers to come on the tv and personally ban players for actions like this.

I'd be happy for a retrospective look at instances such as the Lafferty one and punish the clubs accordingly. The officials were clearly conned there so it would have to be done retrospectively.

How many times have we suffered as a result of cheating tw@ts. We never do it ourselves. It would be nice to have a level playing field

If a player goes down because of an alleged (but false) head butt, he should be helped up then given a real Glasgow fookin' kiss.

I was at the Rangers match on saturday and even the Rangers fans around me were laughing their head off at how much it wasn't a sending off. It didn't really have that much bearing on the game, Rangers got a man wrongly sent-off about 15 minutes later, but Lafferty needs to take a long hard look at himself.
