I heard this on saturday also. Reports of monkhouse being on 700 quid a week more than he is at pools in the league below.

Granted they are a bigger club. BUt fiorst thing monday marning McCAll has been informed he must trim his wage bill and playing staff.

So he gets told to reduce the wage bill, yet gets a player from league above and offers and extra 700.

Alan O'Brien is a good player, seen him many times for Newcastle reserves when they played Sunderland. He's tricky and very fast, would do a good job.

He's been pretty poor for Hibs though. All pace and no end product. Whether he'd do well down here is another thing, but the standard between most of the SPL and League One isn't that great!

Austin would be a very good signing IMO.

Almost worthy of a street party as well us actually signing an out and out full back.
