HUISH is granted for Pools fans

I think it's a play on words. HUISH = WISH. I preferred LOVELY GLOVELY.

40p for the mail are you having a laugh, the Hartlepool Mail should be a weekly paper as they continue to try and find stories from day to day like, oh arthur and maud have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary (well done for not dying) and Bob williamson from the fens has grew a 10ft sunflower and not to mention Frank Richardson from the Manor is angry at the new road signs outside his house.

Give me strength

I remember reading in the 'News in Brief' section that some bloke on Park Road had got planning permission to build A CONSERVATORY!

And to think they axed the Chipper Club for that!

How about this nugget of pointless news from the mail,

Banks have cracked down on how much they are lending and redundancies are on the cards for many.

I went to Holy Trinity Primary School, in Crawford Street, Hartlepool, THE Year 6s were very well clued-up about the situation and were able to describe what they understood by the credit crunch.

No, it's an article, that a Journalist gets paid for.

Its a weekly feature called "Lunchbox", where over the past few months they have lazily gone from featuring local Sandwich enterprises (fair play, bit of publicity for local businesses) to now writing about national junk food chains.

Lazy, lazy tvvats...

rolfl

I think id do a good job at that.

I tend to agree with Elvis. In fact I do agree. How about a letter to the editor bemoaning its place in the paper? After all, the paper can't change stuff it assumes the readers like.

It causes me no end of problems on the culinary front. It means Pizza is a no-no, so are a whole host of other foods.

Chris Cordner

Also why is he reviewing food if he cant eat the majority of it

Blackhall cricket club gets more coverage than Hartlepool cricket club wonder if someone in the mails sport department is connected to Blackhall CC.

I totally agree with Elvis and Tree on this.

The Hartlepool Mail IS shite! It'll never change, until the editor's chair is all mine.

Now, there's a certain little paper in the Bahamas that's worth reading ....

My dad used to slag the Mail off all the time, yet he would still read it from cover to cover, and not stop buying it. When him and me mam moved away, my mams mate would send him the clippings about Peter Owens to feed his addiction!
