Carlisle have nine first team players injured at the moment;

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/carlisle_united/7976066.stm

With them away at Leicester on Saturday and us at home to Hereford, it surely must give us a 3pt cushion?

I hate clubs with nine injured players. It reminds me of a certain club now well established in the Championship who came up to the Vic and utterly spanked us.

Crewe beat us by playing their under 15 side.

But Turner doesnt question our players commitment.

I suppose you are correct.

But we still only a manged 1 goal, against a very very very very very very very young crewe side.

Infact I think they were sponsored by Pampers for the game.

Yes, but he's no fun any more, y'know....getting too tolerant by half. Six months ago he'd have been rushing on-line to point out that hate and fear are separate entities. :grin:

Yeah I know but your joke wouldn't have worked with hatred would it. "Mis-" of the year doesn't quite have the same appeal.

So phobia'll have to do. I love phobias me. Does that make le a philophobist?

Neither would I, not for that game. If you'd swapped the goalkeepers around we'd have murdered them. We dominated the game from start to finish. Of course that doesn't matter. We lost. But it wasn't a commitment problem, it was a goalkeeping horror show.

"If you'd swapped goalkeepers we'd have murdered them." I'll have a pint of whatever this guy is drinking. Mad John, indeed :razz:

We must have had 20+ shots against Crewe, who only had about half a dozen themselves. Crewe will have been thankful that ALB had easily his worst game in a Pools shirt and their own keeper played well. I stand by what I said: if we had swapped keepers the score could well have been reversed.

That game against Crewe aswell, They scored from counter attacks from our OWN corners banghead thats happened far too much this season.
