Longer than that. My parents lived in harwood street for over 40yrs. They moved to a bungalow in throston grange around 3yrs ago. Lived in harwood street all my life until i moved away. Great times had as a kid

There were a lot of pre-war council houses in those streets, similar in style to old West View or Raby Gardens.
I hated them. There was something intrinsically nasty about them.

Is that the Chester that's still standing? I only went in there a couple of times but I remember they had a "test your reflexes" machine that gave you a (very vague, admittedly) idea whether you were fit to drive or not. The thing is none of the customers had cars in those days. :laugh: :laugh:

Aye, but it was only brought to make things better, but....what have they done??? made a mud patch... got a few houses built on Chester Road.... thats it.

£200,000 cheaper than £170,000 and I'd consider the move.
