How have we managed to get this our centenary season so wrong ??

I address this to the three named people, as they have overseen it all. Hodcroft as Chairman, Green as Chief Executive and Turner as director of Sport/ manager.

Give me or any other fan 30 minutes with the player's either during the week or prior to kick off next Saturday to give a fan's opinion, I can guarantee not to throw insults or abuse ,thats not the reason I'm asking this.

Pools' has been in my blood for too many year's to mention, and to be relegated this season is a distinct possibility.

This started before a ball was kicked with only Jones ,Power and Cook added to a squad that struggled for most of the previous season. And mentioning Power just what has happened to him I have more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding Shergar, being walked around the pitch by Elvis Presley than I have of seeing him in a Pools' first team shirt.

Johnny Rowell comes in plays well, even manages to be man of the match for Pools' on a couple of occassions , then has to settle for being on the bench, or not even in the squad.

Why have we continued for years playing players' out of position Full backs not recruited.

Why are contracts left to the last minute season after season???

Players' not knowing whether they be offered one or not, surely someone in the club must alrerady know who they want to keep next season, and yet players' like Liddle,Monkhouse,Nelson,Porter out of contract in a couple months. Is this due to seeing what division we're in before offering them one.????

I have missed 2 games since January 1st 2007,spending money for season tickets/ away games, even two tours, one in Holland, and one in Scotland, surely I (and all other fans) deserve some explanation.

Give me that 30 minutes with the players, to give a fans' opinion of this season, how can a team that played Colchester off the Park 1st game of the season, did same to Scunthorpe early season in Coca Cola Cup, defeat WBA in same competition, defeat Stoke in the FA Cup. Match Leeds in the Coca Cola Cup almost taking them to extra time.

How are we in the position we're in??????

It almost time for fans' like me to decide whether to purchase season tickets next season, can you honestly believe if we have Accrington, Morecambe, Barnet, Dagenham and Redbridge etc that you will sell many. Fans will pick and choose the games they attend, crowds will drop we may end up in the position darlington are in.

Its them teams next season or possibly Charlton, Southampton Norwich.

To the players which stadia would you rather be visiting , Charlton and Southampton or Accrington and Dagenhan.

Get your fingers out and start to perform each of you have more skill than players I watched during the 70's and 80,s so prove it , start Saturday get 3 points and lets get safe. Once thats done and only then can I guarantee that I will purchase a season ticket next season.

I will save a fortune because I been to Accrington once and said at the time What the F*** are we doing back at grounds like this. I wont be doing it again, once is enough.

Come on who has the bottle to invite me to talk to the player's and management team, face to face no holds barred, but no abuse.

great post Bob!!! Another one to sum up how most of us are all feeling today.
Turner is so out of his depth he needs a lifeboat.

Brilliant post but will get no response from the club you can guarentee that.

As for season tickets for next season...had one every season for ages now but next season I wont be bothering unless some big changes are made and certain players and staff are shown the door.

If only more posters could put their passion across as well as you bob, some of the rubbish posted on this board is crazy. We are far from down, there are seven teams in the relegation battle (I'm only talking about the battle to avoid fourth bottom), we are one of them, there's plenty of football to play.

I would genuinely support your request for 30 minutes with the players, I wouldn't let some other posters within a mile of the dressing room.

For me the next two games are vital, anything but a win over Hereford is just not an option, we will beat them, we have no choice. We then go to Crewe and we must avoid defeat there, I will then reassess and see what is required from the final four games. Chris Turner and Colin West must plan for nothing more than the next two games, if we can't get four points from the next two matches we will be giving ourselves a mountain to climb.

There are plenty of twists and turns to take, but we need to pull together.

United we stand, divided we fall.

Another good post, however, didn't we have 'no choice' is beating Orient?

What is being drilled into the players for this kind of match?

I hope we beat Hereford, I hope the players realise the importance of the match and show not just spirit and bottle, but understand the match lasts from 3pm till the second the ref blows for full time

Not half an hour with player's /management but questions now being requested by Turner.

Maybe with some form of politeness , people from within the club do read these boards and take some notice.

People talked like this about us for years, it was never nice, In view of that, I would never refer to any club in these terms.

The Centenary season......................hmmmmmmm.
Hardly got off to a good start. The Centenary tournament, the brick wall, Poolie Pals................It did not bode well.
So much more could (should) have been done to get the place bouncing!!!!
