Is now as big if not BIGGER than Scarborough 1999, so we need the same sort of turn out supporters wise and getting behind the team.

It is without doubt the biggest game of the season, a win is imperative.

We do indeed. That was a great day, with the attendance more than doubled from the previous home game. The town responded in a way it rarely does. It would be fantastic if something similar happened next Saturday. Pools fans should be telling their mates, getting them down there, showing that the town cares. We need to win this game.

Going by our record in front of large crowds then doubling our attendance might not be the best idea.

The same position at the end of the season will do too!

To save anyone looking we finished joint 5th bottom with Gateshead.
It was the first ever season of the 4th division.
We don't want to follow it like we did then by finishing in the bottom 3 five seasons on the trot mind!

I really think the club have lost the town so to speak. Apart from the diehards, which at least is about 3000 compared to 1500 a few years ago, I don't think people are bothered. Its the Grand National on saturday as well, so that will give some a reason for not going to the game.
I reckon about 3200 on Saturday

I agree. A lad who used to go to every home game without fail came up to me last week and said, "are you still going to pools, does anyone still go now"
Where we sit in the cyril knowles stand there used to be at least 10 of us sat there every home game, since the beginning of last season its now dwindled to just 3 or 4.
People have lost interest and i'd be astounded if there's more than 3500 there on saturday. Thats how bad its become!!
