So glad to admit I'm wrong regarding our midweek discussion!

Has this anything to do with Sweeney?

Yep. He was fantastic and just watching the highlights made me realise how good he was.

One of his main strengths is getting in the face of the opposition and stopping them play, he closes players down really quickly (you only have to see how quickly he closed their right back down when he was clearing it in the Mill House/Rink End corner) and he did it perfectly yesterday.

I really hope he can continue that kind of form and if the Aussie keeps playing like he has been then I might just switch my player of the season vote.

It is also his fitness and energy levels that makes him stand out from most others. There was a point yesterday when we had a corner during the 1st half, I think, and Millwall broke away quickly and we were left with a 3 on 1 break with only Liddle back, Sweeney then seemded to come from nowhere to put one of theirplayers off and the chance came to nothing

I'm delighted to hear it. I know I haven't seen him play as much as most people have but as I've said before, for me Sweeney was one a handful of players that embodied everything that was good about Neale Cooper's reign.
And since he's still only 25, I hardly think his legs have gone yet.
