Who will still be on contract for us next season.

If some of those who we need to ship out are still tied with us,how do we get rid and just where will the money come from for these new players. sctatchinghead

I seem to remember the programme notes for the last home game of last season when Danny Wilson was saying we need to get into the market and bring in new faces in certain areas and in the same programme the chairman saying there will be no big money changes and we will have to bring in on free transfers and bring on one or to of the kids(hence the small squad).

I hope when the budget pot is laid down for next season all the usual excuses are removed from it like "falling crowds","the credit crunch",players huge wage demands and so on.
Of course these will all have to be taken into account and I NEVER want to go down the road of a points deduction due to administartion etc but something will have to change and we cannot keep doing it on the cheap. sadx

Well the keepers are out of contract thank fook.

Foley, Robson and Collins are under contract i think, unsure about the others. Fairly sure JB under a longish contract too signed this season.

With all due respects theres a core of about 4-5 players who are worth keeping and thats about it. So if it means we gotta scour peoples reserves, pick players up from a league below us or however we do it something needs to be done. We havent had proper full backs since Barron and Shuggy and thats worrying.

FFS!!!, we don't do things on the 'cheap'

This season, how many players on loan have we brought in?
How much did that useless lump of shite Kyle cost in wages

Last season, players like Moore & Elliott were on a good wack and the season before IOR shelled out nearly £100000 on Barker

IOR have always made funds available, sadly it's the same faeces, week in and week out making the same mistakes

God knows how much he cost us in wages, maybe not as much as everyone thinks or we would not have kept him for so long.

By cheap, I meant you get what you pay for.

I of course applaud what IOR shell out on wages etc and of course they do make funds available but a little more tweaking of the purse strings then maybe another Gordon Watson can be found.

Don't other clubs do this through some sort of sponsorship and as we know IOR are mad keen on sponsors.

Is there not a Dubai company sniffing at the moment as introduced at the centenary dinner.

Maybe Rune Lange could be our next ''Gordon Watson''. If we get him fit for the start of the season, other clubs won't be interested, because he has been out for so long, and he signs for us for next season, and scores a hatful alongside a fit again James Brown.

A man is allowed to dream isn't he. :uhoh:

Why have a go at Kyle, his goals to games ratio was very good.

Runar Lange is the new Gordon Watson, he is injured already.

Dreams do come true, but only at other clubs.

God ! I hope Rochdale dont win the title, they are possibly the only team who have achieved less than ourselves in their sad history.

Wigan v Hull today would of been a div 3 match 10 year ago, now in the prem with fantastic stadia.

Dreams come true when you are bank rolled by a multi, multi millionaire in the case of Wigan, or are presented with a massive cheque by a selling off you towns telecoms company

They didn't get there by hard work and investment from a company like IOR

But IOR havent got anywhere, unless you think the last 10yrs have been a dream, in which case that makes you very sad indeed. Yes you are right though , a sugar daddy is what is required to live the dream. As for Hull council selling off the towns telecoms company , that is incorrect, they refused to sell it, when all other towns were selling theirs thus it went up in value and eventually paid for a community facility that benefits every person in Hull.

I'm confused Ronnie, which other towns, apart from Hull, owned their own their own telecoms systems?

And they refused to sell it, so where did the cash come from?
