Same as Aldershot, they are not the same team as the one that went out of the league either.

it's the spirit of the old club similar to Aldershot, Wimbledon etc. The same fans - to me it's what football is all about.

As soon as someone mentions aldershot I think back to that 5-1 drubbing we gave them in 90/91 at their place.

Happy days!

I think it's Aldershort Town now although they do play at the same 3 sided ground. One of my favourite grounds, covered terracing in the away end :coool:

regardless of what they were called before, so far as I'm concerend those clubs still live through their supporters. It would be the same for us. In a way I envy them, the journey for Aldershot and Wimbledon will be something all of them will never forget, coming back from the dead and getting into the league again, and Wimbledon look like they'll be in the Conference next season!!!

Parmo is spot on. The spirit of a club resides in its supporters: same supporters, same club, simple as that.
Owners have the right, knowingly - or inadvertently through incompetence - to pull a club from under the supporters' feet.
By the same token, supporters have the right to say with the clearest of consciences, "You, the owners don't embody what we love any more, but we can soon find a bit of grass and eleven players who do."

Only 469 at home. But the average for that league is less than 100.

Compared to FC Halifax Town who get 1100 but they're two leagues higher. And AFC Wimbledon 2 divisions higher still who had 800 more than Darlo on Saturday. ...... and only 200 less than us bbolt
