Just something for consideration.
West joins Friday 13th Feb. Games since then are.
MKD away where he was not involved in any preparation. LOST
Leicester home where 1 and a half days prep. DREW
Orient home 3 days prep. Yes we were crap. LOST
Swindon away 2 days prep WON
Colchester away 3 days prep DREW
Tranmere home 2 days prep WON.

The point I am making is that because of the fixture list any thoughts he has on training/tactics/selection he hasn't really had much of an opportunity to introduce those. Despite that we have seen an improvement overall in performances and therefore results. So how much of the credit may be down to him.
I am not providing the answer I am just asking the question.

I agree totally. He must be doing something right as we do seem a much harder outfit to beat in recent games.
I was happy when he was appointed and glad to see its working out but lets not get carried away and lets hope this continues. Turner and West know this club better than anyone so if we are to be successful, i can it coming under there management.

Ian Butterworth - Defender. We struggle to keep goals against down.
Colin West - Striker. Keeping it tight at the back.

Reminds me of Brian Clough, striker, keeping it tight at the back.

lets not forget, some of the best and most attacking football we used to witness came from the management & coaching of an ex-goalkeeper
