Now we've all seen the replays.

Was it a disgraceful decision by the ref as Moore says?
Was it outside the area like some Tranmere fansites such as this one (http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/ ... 141037.htm) are sugggesting?
And how funny were the Tranmere players reactions? rolfl

I thought it was a penalty at the time. I haven't yet seen the TV pictures yet but the fact Guy had to go off surely proved the guy cuaght him.

That's the clearest cut penalty I've seen for years! Good job Guy didn't try to stay on his feet mind, though I'm not sure he could have.

Having said that, "penalty to Tranmere"?? Where do they get these voice-over commentators from?

And how come teams like Tranmere protest so vociferously against a stonewaller when Pools say absolutely bugger all against a blatant non-penalty (West Ham)?

maybe it's our reward from the referees association for not barracking them when they were awarded against us!!!!!
Either way I couldn't give a monkey's aunt!!! We have earned 6 points because of penners in the last week and I'm highly delighted that we caused some other fu-ckers so much misery for a change!!!!

i think he must have been also with this comment "Achterberg went the right way and got quite close to it." from what I have seen it hit the back of the net before he got close to it

Fair play that was a pen, I was 100% wrong.

From the MH terrace view, it looked more like Guy had tripped over his own feet, but that camera angle is clear cut.

Good job Boyeson was well-positioned then.

how poor is the commentator during this clip? absolute garbage,

when guy gets bundled over (which was inside the box) he actually says 'and that is a penalty to tranmere'

what a plank.

What gets me is when we've dominated a spell of the game and scored.

He'll say something like "and Hartlepool have scored against the run of play".

Agree with Spiff. From Cyril Knowles stand a clear pen. From the Mill house side it looked like he had flung himself to the ground. Well done Mr Boyeson
