Printer & Ink help needed please

Ive just replaced my ink cartridges (Cyan,Magenta,Yellow & Black) in an Epson SX100 printer.
I am getting a message telling me that the black cartridge is incompatible/printer doesnt recognize the cartridge.
I rang the shop & the guy says if I fetch the printer in he will show me how to put the cartridge in so the printer recognises it.
Anyone know how to do this ??

sounds like the microchip on the cartridge is faulty/not coded correctly, thats if it has a chip on it, if it doesnt im not sure :-o

if it has a chip on it, it will have squished in the printer by now

Unplug the printer, disconnect it from the computer and take it to the shop, piece of piss :-o
