Seeing as he is meant to be woeful for England, I thought the average England supporter would be happy with that!

I think it's fair to say he has gone off injured. I don't believe any player in the world would want to feign injury in an important cup-tie against their derby rivals just so they didn't have to play for their country.

I hope he is crocked, Liverpool would finish a consistent 8th without him.

They really are anti-football. A poor team carried by two good players, Liverpool will win nothing this season. I'd rather watch Chelsea.

Yeah, I think it stems from my dislike of Hartlepudlian 'Liverpool' fans. At least Man Utd fans are semi-reasonable and actually have something to brag about, but Liverpool fans are so blind and self-important I just cannot stomach them. Therefore, I always want to see their team lose.

Similar to me I suppose. Thing is, I just generally hate Manchester United fans, even if they are from Manchester or Salford where they are actually from.

Ive mellowed towards Man Utd over the last few years, mainly because of the way Newcastle hate them,so every trophy Man Utd lift pisses off the black & white shites a bit more.
Plus the other realistic options are Arsenal,Chelsea & Liverpool so I guess Man Utd are the lesser of 4 evils.

Maybe he went off due to boredom?

What a load of shit, I watched about twenty minutes before I decided that what I watching was utter bilge and switched off.

Prancing tossers trying to get each other booked, I'm really starting to go off any non Pools related football. This behaviour has even filtered down to outfits like Huddersfield.
