So far (and probably the last before this window closes) all strikers, now most on here including me would have said we needed better quality in other positions.

We now have 3 strikers in on loan, Henderson, Nardiello and Lange which hopefully will allow us to rest Porter or at least only play him for 60-70 minutes before being replaced, or even coming off the bench for 20-30 minutes. Not the ideal situation in my opinion as he is our most likely scorer but with his niggly injury we had to get some cover. It's fairly obvious Turner feels Foley and Mackay aren't up to it if we lose Porter completely for the rest of the season.

Maybe it would have been better to have brought in 2 strikers and someone else in a different position, as to me it would seem that Henderson will be the 3rd choice (when Porter not playing 4th when he is) behind Nardiello and Lange( if he fully fit) meaning Henderson seems in my opinion a bit of waste of a loan.

So a keeper or cover for the defence would have been more logical to me.

But Turner is the incumbent so we have to hope that he has got it right.

Darlo have had more loans than the fooking Halifax, and Lange isn't even on loan....

if we could swap Henderson for a defender then I think we'd have the right balance, but it wasn't certain we'd get anybody when we signed Henderson so he was worth a look. Subsequent signings may render his signing not such a good one, but now we've got what we've got and we need to press on and get stuck into the opposition every game from now on, whoever it is, home or away.
On reflection we should have been out of sight at half time on Saturday and possibly the next away game we might just do that.
The Brighton fan I spoke to in the bar after the match commented on how they were extremely lucky not to have been dead and buried at 3.45, and really they should have been.
At home I'd back us to beat anybody (with the exception of Leicester) and teams at the top of the league might leave more gaps at the back for our forwards to exploit.
