A good point today and with better finishing in the 2nd half it could have been all three.

Budtz has pulled off a good save early in the game to keep it at 0-0. There goal seems to have gone in in slow motion with it seemingly sticking between their forwards feet to give him a second chance which he put away. We seemed to be getting into the game as the half time whistle approached. Liddle received a booking in the first half, unjust as far as I was concerned. To me it was an old fashioned tackle and Liddle won the ball. This was his 5th booking of the season, meaning a ban will take place. It kicks in( I think) 7 days after the 5th booking meaning, if I right he will be available for Southend next Friday but unavailable for Scunthorpe on boxing day.

We equalised through a good cross from Robson though it appeared to be put in by a Hereford defender

Pools playing with the slope of the Hereford pitch had the better of the 2nd half.

Some good performances today were no one really would be given less than a 7. Rowell had a good starting debut. A good performance as well by Foley when he came on as a substitute, probably as good a game from him as I have seen. Playing through the middle as a forward he seemed more at home than in any other game out on the wing.

A total of 109 Pools fans making the journey which included Mark E Smith dressed as a very very drunk SANTA CLAUS.

Sweeney and Clarke substituted, seemingly tirieing with the effects of the flu that has been around at the club.

3 players booked though not a bad foul in the game, Liddle I have already mentioned, Robson once more unjust after Hunprhreys had been fouled. Kyle for mouthing off to the referee after not being given an obviuos foul on him, though the verbals he give the referee warranted the booking.

A point at the end of the day is what we would all have settled for before kick off, though as said earlier better finishing, possibly Porter on the pitch would have seen us get all 3.

Another excellent away day courtesy of Tax Paying Poolie Travel Company, A cost of £35.

Him and his entourage never fail to crack me up. I've never see anyone have so much chew trying to work their way how to get into some grounds.

Even when there are huge feck off signs above the turnstiles saying 'Away fans tickets only' and 'Away fans cash only' they'll always end up going in the ticket only one first and try and pay with cash.

I've lost count of the number of times they've been hoyed out for smoking in the bogs at half time. And as for the singing, I really miss the yellow away strip as you would always get a slurry version of 'Just like watching Brazil'.

Sorry to get your hopes up Salty, he's a Poolie with a 'lived in' face resembling the Fall frontman.
