Imagine how different the World would be? The population for start would be significantly larger which could be adversely affecting the world now. More unemployment? Less food? Less lebensraum!

But without question deleting a man like Hitler from history could only be for the good of mankind.

But you are talking about a man who you know would go on to exterminate hundreds of thousands of toddlers in gas chambers.

For sure the world would have been a better place without him but even with that knowledge taking the life of a baby is tough. It's extremely hard to shoot someone who is trying to kill you and you mates let alone a kid.

Naw, I wasn't going all Uncle Albert, I was just making the point that taking a life in cold blood is not an easy thing to do and despite knowing what was in store, Adolf was at one point in time a bonny little toddler. Could you, even knowing his future, top a cute little three year old?

A bit simplistic innit, unless you believe that the man was born a maniac? Wouldn't it be just as effective to tell his parents they should maybe give him a few more hugs confised

Anyway, if you took this single terribly charismatic figure out of history would you change the course of the 20th Century? Germany, with all of its WW1 treaty grudges, willingly followed Hitler where he led. Without him would they have followed another, and could that have been just as bad? Or even worse?

That's pretty much what I said MJ.

Given the same powers, would you kill a 3 year old Jesus Christ? Bet that would have saved a shitload more lives over the course of history

Not possible, don't even go there. There would've been some other power seeking meglamaniac around if he wasn't there to do the evil he did. The victor gets to write history remember.

Taking the facts that he was to kill so many thousands plus that haircut I would have put rat poison in the fckers milk.

Oh, and in case anyone doubts the authenticity of that baby photo, it is DEFINATELY hitler..

What if by killing Hitler you cease to exist because your parents never met because your grandparents never met because there was no war.

The world would be totally different to what we know now. We would all probably not be here.

As Madjohn said: What if you kill Hitler and that lets Stalin become so powerful he takes all Europe and we're all Commies now Comrade?

Agree on Chris de Burgh tho.

Too late. The damage is done.

So in conclusion. Are we all in agreement, that Chris De Burgh caused the holocaust?

I'm pretty sure we can pin a few other things on him as well. Wasn't he on the grassy knoll?

id certainly take my chances topping the tw@t.

I'm not saying topping him is wrong. I'm saying it's not a "no-brainer". To a lot of people currently leading a reasonably comfortable life it would be a tough decision as Grave has found out at his works.

The thing is, no one knows what might have happened, if someone had bought his paintings, or his idolised mother hadn't died when he was younger, maybe the whole thing would never have happened, it might not have been necessary to kill the child. Who's to say something worse might have come along, we don't know and no one's going back to do sod all about it anyway.... and if they did, could they also pop off Stalin, Mao, etc, etc....
