Having lived near there I found them to be a reasonable lot. A few years ago I went with a group of work mates who organised a do at the Britannia stadium. We had over 100 of us dressed as Elvis at a game. The best laugh I've had at a footy match for years.

I was 70's Vegas Elvis.

Great fun being interviewed by Radio Stoke and one of the lads, Con, repeatedly say to the female interviewer; "you're trying to look at my willy aren't you".

Great hospitality by the club to be fair and we were allowed to go on at half time for an Elvis penalty competition.

I had a though; I remembered that the BBC cover the Elvis thing on their website. I found the story in their archived material.

A great great day.
