returning to virgin media as of next friday
sky one
sky two
sky three
sky sports news

along with a few others clappp clappp clappp clapppVirgin Media and Sky have finally come to an agreement over Sky's basic packages – bringing the likes of Sky One and Sky Sports News back to cable on November 13.

A press release from the two companies confirmed that an agreement had been reached - which interestingly does not include Sky's HD offerings.

"The first agreement will see the return, on 13 November, of Sky's Basic channels – including Sky1, Sky2, Sky3, Sky News, Sky Sports News, Sky Arts 1, Sky Arts 2, Sky Real Lives and Sky Real Lives 2 – to Virgin Media's cable TV service," reads the release.

"The second agreement provides for the continued carriage of Virgin Media TV's basic channels – Living, Living 2, Bravo, Bravo 2, Trouble, Challenge and Virgin 1 – as part of Sky's retailed channel line-up on satellite. Both deals will run concurrently until 12 June 2011.

At least simpsons is always on sky one, thats about it though, anything else good on there?

Sky two and three are awful.

I can't think of the last thing I watched on Sky 1, 2 or 3 cos they're a bag of shite. sctatchinghead

I've just upgraded my Sky to get the fillums aswell as the rest that I was already getting cos it's Friday and I had the urge to spend some money that the wife wouldn't approve of. I don't even like many fillums, especially Americanbullshit ones.

Xmas sales are a waste of time for electricals.

I got that cheers.

There's a few about around the £550 mark and some down as low as £500. I'm waiting to see one around £450 and then I'll pounce!

She may like footy parmo but i bet she also likes

corrie, stenders, emmerdale, gok won etc

Your talking about 25 hours on average per week that your average women will watch of stupid girly programmes that are rubbish.

when i put footy on, the wife goes out, even better than her liking it or pretending to like it for my sake.

Then again i am watching blue square premier and french league games on setanta just to get rid of her these days.

I wish it was just my wife I had to fight with to get control of the tv remote, my younger daughter has cartoon network on until 8pm then the older one wants E4, Dave and Living, my rime slot is around 11pm when I am needing sleep.

Good job I have found some good web sites for watching the footie.

The new Alibi channel on Virgin features Shoestring and our lass loves Shoestring. stpid .....anyway there's Alibi 1 and 2 and our lass gets up to catch the last half hour of Shoestring on Alibi 1 at 7.30 and then watches the beginning of it on Alibi 2 at 8.00...she says it make sense, but watching the end first sounds fkn loopy to me sctatchinghead I did suggest getting up earlier, but that wasn't too popular

Shoestring has had a career change...he's called Boyd, now, and appears in 'Waking the Dead' as a very volatile gadgie with anger management problems

If you ever watch Shoestring, he always gets knocked out about three quarters of the way though, hit from behind, followed by the scene where his 'landlady' is cleaning the cuts on his head, you can set your watch by it......
