At the stats option, and checked the 'Most Goals from Penalty Spot' and was surprised to see the top name of what I would call the 'modern' era, that is post 60's. Actually it's the top two names tied on 11 each.

Without checking, as I have, and ruling out Mad John and Katcha, who can name those two players?

Yes, Roy Hogan.

I know my memory isn't so good. But I certainly can't remember him being the regular penalty taker.

Joel's only got 3. I thought it was more than that, although he has missed a few.

Educated guess as you asking for your "modern era" Paul Baker

Boyd missed another one last night- he's missed a few for Orient but generally knocks in the rebounds if the keeper saves the spot kick - but not last night!!! It cost them a point in the end. Hopefully he will have left his shooting boots in the dressing room on Saturday.
Still a quality striker when he's on form

Paul Baker is on 10 alongside Barker. Tommy Miller is on 9 with Boydy.

The right answer is Alan Shoulder. clappp for ronaldo.

Billy Ayre did score 1, but I doubt it was with his head.

Alan Shoulder scored six in six games in 86/87 season to get us enough points in that little run to keep us in the League. Lincoln went down, but we only finished 3 points above them (crucially one of the wins in that six game scoring run of Shoulder was against Lincoln - when we beat them 2-1 after being one down and struggling to equalise). There but for the grace of the football gods....................

I hadn't realised they were nearly all penners!! I remember that Exeter game - John Shaw the bald goalie was in goal for them and he played a blinder. Shoulder's winner was a header in the Town End!!!

We used to sponsor Roy Hogans kit - he used to take a mean penalty. One I distinctly remember was against Rochdale where we sponsored the match ball and watched the game from the directors 'box'.
