And if people think showing a release of emotion is not macho, then they are not real men.

What, so are you telling me you wouldn't cry if Pools were relegated out of the League ?

That's emotion that does that, passion for the club and the game.

No, I'm not a mong.

I don't regret what I did at all.

Because I wrote "FACT" after the statement, in capitals and everything.

On the day in question, I went out and got uproariously pissed with Codyakker and his mates after the match, went back to the hotel, decided I wasn't pissed enough and went up to the 'Cutter, riding in the luggage bay of the taxi. Parmo even bought me a pint even though his arms are short and his pockets are deep.

Football simply isn't worth crying about, but it's a great excuse for drinking to forget!!

I was only 16 at the time. I didn't drink. I don't drink.

At the time that was the only way I could release my emotion.

It would felt worse in the morning after, you know, waking up with a hangover.

Yeah but you then don't have to concentrate on the facts because you're worried about whether your neck can support your head and you've forgotten why you got mangled in the first place until the Monday morning papers.

I suspect you release your emotion in more ways than crying.......

You've got sober up sometime though, we had to plan how we were going to get back into this League.

You're right, I am a passionate person, especially where Pools are concerned.

There was little point in me planning owt, I was just a paying customer. The night out was a damn sight better than the season to be honest and then the professionals took over and we got promoted. I played an equally big part in that as I did in the relegation.

I'm not sure that we didn't end up drinking whiskey and listening to Carter down at your gaff that night in the company of the marvellous Mrs Ripper. sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

Or was that Loz's adventure day??

Nah, I think it was relegation day. Loz's stunt, we we're in the King Johns after the game and I stayed down town.

I think...

I'm with the Ripper on this

You see the daft twats with that stupid 'hands on head' pose, crying

It's not worth bubbling about, there are many, many, many, many worse things that can happen in life then getting relegated

As a matter of fact any adult who cries after getting relegated is a double see you next tuesday

FACT!!!!

Anyway, I think the reason I cried on that day was because we'd spent the most of the last decade fighting to avoid relegation and trying to go up, then out of the blue, the one thing we'd all feared in the 90s and thought would never happen again to this club....happened. sadx
