I can confirm the parking ticket machines are working and very well thank you very much.

Took my bairn to the hospital the other day, saw consultant, was give a "hospital prescription" so had to use hospital pharmacy, waited an extra 40min, just to be told ,we have'nt got that in it will be tomorro, give us a ring before you call in,. the 40min wait put me in the addtional payment band for the carpark,

rang next day, "yes its in", went down , shed long Q, including a couple of nurses from differant wards, takin away enough stuff to even put salty to sleep, finally got my slip handed in 30min later they grab an already made up prescription of the back shelf hand it to me, result another £2.60 for the carpark, so for a childs, so called "free" prescription, cost me about £4..........

The NHS are class arn't they. The mrs works here in the hospital, the told her she is getting the flu jab so she doesnt give it to the patients that are susceptible to disease yet they give her an appointment over the other side of the city during work hours..... so it makes it impossible for her to go get it. crazy NHS! If the cancer patients die of the flu before the cancer gets to them then its the hospitals fault, yet again.

On the subject of the nhs, i just went to the pharmacy to pick up a repeat prescription from reception. I was told they dont hand them out on Saturdays even though they are in the tray right next to the receptionist!!

I now have to go back on monday!

Our lass had an appointment regarding her arm, under the new booking system at your doctors she asked for an appointment at the General... but there's a two year waiting list at the General, wait for it, ..IT'S VERY BUSY..... ..... surely some mistake sctatchinghead ...she was offered as an alternative..Bishop Auckland, Bolton and fookin Taunton..yes, the one in the west country, because they could all offer you an appointment inside a month  Apparently it's the goverments way of speeding things up
