The draw for the first round of the FA Cup will take place 1pm on SUNDAY, back live on ITV would you believe !

http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/TheFACup/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/2008/10/First_Round_beckons.htm

Now the ultimate question: Who would you like in the First Round ?

I would say any team like Maidstone United, but only because it would be a doddle for me. Not so easy for the rest of us, of course, or quite possibly somewhere in the South East where the team plays in a small village with the most romantically small ground possible, or Oxford United or Oxford City somewhere like that to visit family.

FOURTH QUALIFYING ROUND:

I hope Hornchurch fail to qualify as they are playing my old home town team Weymouth, Weymouth would be a good away tie for the Loids a nice long trek just to get beat by a decent non league side.

I know in terms of the best possible draw for our progression in this competition that we'd like a home draw, but having Tamworth's a bit boring isn't, considering why we love the FA CUp, it's romance etc.

Besides if you want revenge Mark Cooper's at Kettering now. Let's have them at home and kick his arse.

Are you scared we'll get knocked out again by a minnow ? Is anyone scared ?

Also the possibility of The City of Dreaming Spires Derby: Oxford United Vs. Oxford City in Round One.

My uncle's a United fan. Dad was best friends at school with a City fan.

Darlo home or away would do just fine, an easy passage to the 2nd round, decent crowd 6,000 Poolies and 700 Loids, bragging rights for another few seasons and the chance to see how good that San Marino international is rolfl

PoK I know what country he is from but had a toss up between San Marino and Andorra, as Iceland are of a much better quality than Liechtenstein.

No, true, you're right there.

Liechtenstein are ranked 135th round, worse than

Bermuda
New Caledonia
Thailand
North Korea
Armenia
New Zealand
Cuba
China
Cyprus
Iraq
Bosnia
Wales
South Korea
Belgium
Iran
Switzerland

At least people pay to go to the San Siro, sometimes it's like a ghost town in that stadium of yours.

AFC Wimbledon is my nearest team (well actually it's Corinthian Casuals!) and they are pulling 3,000 for home matches at the moment.

Personally, I've always fancied Barrow away but not sure Mrs Chessington would let me go all that way sadx

I'd love us to play Durham, they've got a tough game today though against Histon, saying that, they thrashed Stalybridge Celtic 6-1 away in the last round.
