i don't understand people who leave early.

i have done it once and it was to beat the rush when we were 4-0 down v Luton or someone a few year back. I felt guilty :laugh:

will never do it again

I could have left early when we were 4-0 down to Cambridge United a few years back but I didn't. We went on to lose 6-0.

The last time I left early was to catch a bus to do my paper round on the Headland, that was over 40 years ago. I wasn't even tempted to leave early when we lost 8-1 to Plymouth.

a bit differant these days ken when you get the night mail at eleven oclock on the morning :laugh:

you could deliver them on the way to the games now

I did leave the '66 World Cup Final (well the TV that was showing it in our house) early to go and do my paper round. banghead

Totally different as you stay to watch the ending, if you knew the ending then yes you may leave the cinema early. Like wise if your 5-0 down then you already know the ending.

I dont see a problem with people leaving early, they pay their money and its their choice when they leave.

The difference in that season was that Swansea were essentially Liverpool Seniors and on their way up through the leagues in quick succession.

We on the other hand were a team of journeymen and local lads ala Roy Hogan, John 'striker' Borthwick. Limited players giving everything they had.
