I read in the programme last night that, since 1st January 2001, only Arsenal have scored more goals at home than Pools in the whole of the football league.

If our away record wasn't so pathetic we'd be holding our own in the Championship easy.

It's an impressive but unsurprising statistic and probably a reason we've become so hard to please. To think I've seen in that time us win 4-0, 5-0,6-1,7-1, and 8-1 :laugh:

You and me both - some people just don't appreciate what they have got. They would rather watch same old, same old Prem pap, which as most people on here appreciate, is invariably drab and predictable...

I'd have to check when I get home but I compiled the list for the programme a week ago, and I think Arsenal had a home game on Saturday.

So the information was out of date then? Hope they'll be refunding everyone's £2.50's :wink:

They scored 3 on Saturday so think we're still behind them. I wonder where we are in the 21st Century table
