surely, surely - this HAS to be it.

I don't care who we get in now, anybody at all cannot do a worse job.

This is desperate now, we will finish 24th.
Why couldn't we have got Mad Dog Allen in when we had the chance???

Pools as a club are clueless from top to bottom about football.

Subsidising the business side is one thing - but NONE of them have even the faintest idea about F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L

Not really mate, because at the time it looked down and out, After attending most of our away games this season i have given this one a miss, Soon as they went 2-0 up i had that exact same "here we go again" feeling. Fair play the players proved me wrong and i will eat my humble pie.. But it doesnt change my stance on Danny Wilson.

Only way i would wish this is our chairman cannt see 2 feet infront of his nose.. The only way he pays attention is by something drastic, I.E Clark scotty incident. So yes i was wrong today and i have admitted that, Well done pools but i aint convinced just yet.

Humble pie.... why? if your holiday plane is falling out of the sky, you have the right to start screaming... and while everyone is praising the pilot for saving you, ask him how he got you into that situation in the first place..As for the cocks a crowing, they were noticeable for their silence till Sweeney scored.

You only said what you thought at the time which in the circumstances was more than reasonable, as for those who wish to label you, would that be those blessed with 20;20 hindsight who were distinctly subdued prior to the miracle ...

No, he is someone who can see the bigger picture, that if it takes a big defeat to get rid of the manager then so be it. I would sooner see us lose a game 10-0 than 1-0 right now as we would have no fewer points but it may give Ken the impetus to give Danny the boot. stpid

i know and you know the point he was trying to make and when he made it and the circumstances. Do you only live from game to game, result to result, because there's also a bigger over-view of a season to consider, you view the season like someone driving down the road and raising your head slightly so you can only see 5 yards in front of you, try raising it a bit more and getting the full view... now what's the word for a driver who doesn't look where they're going...?

very well construct sentence but utterly pointless. I agree that at 2-0 down with another defeat staring us in the face everyone has the right to be hugely pissed off (i was too), but he said he 'seriously hoped' Pools got beat.

serious qestion, why would anyone want their own team to get beat?

It's called an analogy..that's a three syllable word, it's what peole who've been to school use to illustrate a point, but if you find all these long words confusing, just let me know and I'll do a special pictogram for you.. just let me know your favourite cartoon characters and I'll use them to help your limited understanding. Happy to help.

Last season Carlisle loved John Ward, ne got them to the play offs. And they should have gone up.

Now, they want him sacked. Sacked because of results.

If he isnt sacked and he turns their season round they will get off his back.

Isnt that just what most pools fans are doing with Wilson?

And what most fans do at ALL clubs?

This little run of wins is great, and I am loving it. But I still have this nagging feeling that Wilson keeps getting away with it. He seems to pull a result out of the bag just in time to save his skin, time after time.

If pools now lost 4 on the trot, there wouldnt be a witch hunt. But if we lost 8 on the trot there would. Then Wilson would get a win to calm everyone down.

People like UPthepools just dont seem to understand this.

It's all very true my corpulent amigo, however it still makes no sense. In no other sport or industry does the spectator value his own opinion more, and I'd hazard a guess that of 92 clubs, no wait, 72 clubs for I give not a flying fart for the Premiership, there is no more self-opinionated fan than the average Poolie and before I get the pelters, I include myself in that.

Wilson somewhere!!

we were awful on saturday. didnt ever really look like scoring against one of the weaker teams in this division at the moment. orient played better than us all game and deserved the win. Thornton run thw show on saturday. it was only 1-0 but could easily of been 3-0 as they hit the bar twice aswel. we dont play to our advantaghes which are kyle, we have him up top and dont even play it up to him and use him as we should - a target man. you could see him getting more and more frustrated on saturday at not being used correctly. I think something needs to be done amd sharpish as at this rate we are going to get relegated. i mean fair enough we won 4 before saturday but we havent exactly played well in them 4 games and were lucky more thna anything. if we come up against the better teams in the division like Leeds, Leicester we will be made a joke of and i can hionestly see them spanking us!
