This guy was on the verge of an England call up a couple of years ago before he got injured...

Wouldn't mind him as he would be an obvious improvement.

However, any signings at the moment has to be full backs, the need for them is far greater than a keeper. He could sign Kaka, Ronaldo and Messi on five year deals and I'd still be kicking off that we need the defence sorting before we look at other areas.

I would imagine he'd want to be playing higher than League One.

Aye, dropping down one level on a temporary loan to get some first team football would be so major. stpid

I thought I had read somewhere that you thought ALB was great. So why do we need another keeper?

I think ALB is doing ok.

Equally I think that Joel Porter is doing ok.

But if Michael Owen and Terry Henry were available for loan and affordable I'd sign them up and put Joel on the bench.

You do talk some sh*te. What the fuck has Micheal Ricketts playing once for England six years ago got to do with the ability of this lad?

In his little world it is highly relevant.

But he lives in Yorkshire so we should make allowances and nod in that sympathetic way.

Scotty could have sorted all this out by signing two good full backs and a replacement for Westwood instead of ProctorLlwellynBullock and that Darren guy whose surname I have honestly forgotten but who was supposed to be a full back.

I know it's hard to grasp, but 'nearly' getting an England call up in this case is something and nothing, loads of players have 'nearly' got called up for England and Ricketts did, hardly makes him a good player, does it??

Although it would be hard to be worse then the current goalkeeper(s) at the Vic
