Proves he is the real deal. First time ever an England team has won it's first four qualifying games. Cue "It's England we don't care" and "premier shit".

Well done lads. Playing good football too. Keep it going. clappp

I currently have a lot more interest in England than I do in Pools. Well done England, good performance.

I'm over the moon England won tonight and i reckon Capello is doing a good job so far, but i still don't reckon he knows what to do with his midfield, Steven Gerrard is not a left sided midfielder.
The most surprising thing for me is how much i enjoy watching Heskey play, he never stops chasing long balls and closing payers down, he hardly ever loses a header and his touch seems to be spot on

Heskey was class tonight, he won everything and he held up every ball.

His move for Rooneys first goal was quality too

Forgot to add about Heskey, one thing that is letting him down. He never looks like scoring! Which i suppose a foward should do now and again

If were scoring, 3,4 or 5 every time then it matters not one bit.

Yea, i suppose your right.

This may sound odd, but Emile Heskey makes me understand the whole team thing as oppossed to skillful/talented players. If you asked me to name the best forwards in England i wouldn't include him, but England always seem to play a lot better when he plays and he brings the best out of other players.

Heskey sacrafices himself for the team, with him in there Rooney has the freedom to express himself, as his 5 goals so far in the qualifiers proves, Rooney plays best when he is with a no nonsense Heskey type striker, stick him in there with owen or defoe and they have there own agendas, rooney wanders and the ball doesnt stick.

I don't think he is a long term solution but he's doing a good job so far in these qualifiers and long may it continue.

Heskey did well in the first hour that I saw and thought he did well on Saturday. Couldn't Crouch do exactly the same job as him (if not better) plus score goals though?
