I recall that just after joining us, Mr Barker said that he had joined us because we were a club with ambition and it would give him a chance at having a shot at getting of playing in the Championship - or something along those lines.

I have never doubted his commitment to our club during his time with us. I am sad to see him go and I wish him all the best of luck for the future, wherever that lies.

So when Kyle goes back we'll not have a forward who can hold the ball up as well as being a big physical presence. I couldn'y see Barker starting too many games but an assest to have to bring on especially against physical sides.
I thought he did a lot of good work on the pitch and helped out in defence when needed. He also took a good penalty.
