I thought I'd mention that Richie Humphries displayed the best bit of skill/showmanship I've ever witnessed at a football match.

Hartlepool v someone (not important) Richie got the ball on the left wing touchline and was running at quite a pace to the opposition full back.

As the full back came in for the tackle Richie turned his body to the pools crowd gave a cheeky smile, and whilst sticking his tongue out (and not looking at the ball) nutmegged the floundering full back and ran on to deliver another inch perfect cross.

I seem to remember him doing this but has anyone got any idea who he was playing against?

A 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers sticks in my mind for that...so it probably wasn't that one then!

It's was our promotion season in 2002/2003 defo against someone in red, it may have been Southend actually. It wasn't Bristol Rovers we beat them 2-0 that season in a night game and I was in the boxes, when Ritchie did that I was in the Town End.

Edit; Of course It also could have been in another season against Bristol Rovers who weren't in and have never even played in red, the score may have been 1-1

I can vaguely remember it being about that time.

It must have been a few years ago as the only person he nutmegs now is himself.
