First bit lower turnout than I expected for the poolie faithful but still created a good atmosphere.

On to the match....not much to say really....think wilson got it completly wrong going 4-5-1.......he moans about teams coming to victoria park and doing it and pinching late goals.....good if we could actually defend or pinch late goals or counter attack at pace

Once we went a goal down that early I thought we wer in trouble but they were not a good side really.....looked much more impressive here in St Johnstones Paint Trophy.Howard still won eeverything and we have to learn to close people down. Anyways onto ratings

ALB -6 One of few whoput in a decent performance but a lot of the saves were easy to make......goal kicking decisions were poor and nearly embaressed when he cleared a backpass into Fryatt

McCunnie 4 - These are the games where he will look even worse. Against a winger who has pace. Obviously Dyer wasgoing to out pace the lad but he should of had help and not left 1 v 1 all the time.

Nelson - 5.5 Still caught out of position and many many hopeless long punts that never got anywhere near our man. Wasnt helped today with the poor performance of his partner.

Collins - 4.5 I hadnt seen him till this season and he looked really solid at the start. Now today made a few mistakes which could of proved a lot more costly if Leicester used the possession better. Suprisingly wasteful with the ball.

Humphreys - 4 Jesus christ what do we need to do to realise and attempt to replace the full backs. I even seen that someone on our coach back give him MOM. Wat game wer they watching. Just watch the goal and look after doing the hard work what he go and does. Needs benching ASAP

Sweeney - 5 Not really involved but had one good run which was letdown by quality of ball in. Maybe the eye had something to do with it but needed to track back more and help McCunnie.

Jones -5.5 He is a good footballer. You can see that. Just wish he would run forward with the ball more. Very weak in the challenge but I do not think he is the crunching tackle type of midfielder.

Liddle - 5 This lad looks lost now. Again covered a lot of ground but doesn't have the influence he did in promotion season. Maybe a change to right/left back will bring the old liddle back

Monkhouse - 6 Involved in most of our good stuff. Final devliery not so good and left humphreys 1 v 2 a lot. But he is a creative player when he has the ball

Brown - 5.5 A lot of chasing and carrying but not enough final quality apart from one attempt never really looked like scoring. Needs to get the ball more in better positions

Porter - 4 Don't know what waswrong today. Was made to chase far too much playing lone man in first half but kind of did an OK job. Second half he couldn't control anything, left the ball behind when trying to turn and generally was frustrating. Didn't look happy when subbed

Subs- Not really able to get into a poor team game. But not enough quality that can change games if not going our way

He did absolutely fook all wrong after that, if as you say it was his fault.
He put every dangerous ball out of play did the basics well.
Every one of their corners came from Richie defusing a difficult ball into a dangerous area. How many goals did they score from the resulting corners? fookin none.
There is no blame and no shame in todays result. They have more quality than we do, in situations like that we have to make up the difference in other areas like working harder, keeping possession we didnt.
For me Humphries was MOM today and no i wasnt on your bus, but i bet the bus owner is gonna have a job on his hands tomorrow getting the tongue marks off the windows stpid

Monkhouse is the tall one on the left you know, humphries is shorter (edit)

Either you ARE Ritchie Humphries, or one of the 'brigade'.

His opinion is based on the FACT he was there. You werent. SIMPLE AS THAT.

You can make comments on games you ACTUALLY ATTEND IF YOU EVER DO. But you should at least respect people's opinion who bother to go. NOW GO FIND A STONE TO CRAWL UNDER.

Everyone on here respects opinions. But what do you base yours on. You admitted in earlier post you weren't there. The Championship not on, so what is your opinion based on. Yes that it your just a moaning, whinging git.

Well lots of people who were there said Humps was utter tripe and I believe them over people who pick Humps for motm every single week based on the fact that matches iv seen when Humps is voted motm, he has been utter shite.

He played okay for me. I thought the team as a whole did okay, that Leciester side is a very good outft, we seemed to match them for most of the game.

Why anyone posts about players on here when they haven;t been to the match is beyond me.

We were ordinary and our main weakness which should suprise no one was our full backs. For anyone to give Humphreys mom over Nelson, or Monkhouse is ridiculous. Most were ordinary, a few were a bit better.

Apart from having a bit of a lie down when they scored, yes Humphreys hoofed a few into touch he also hoofed plenty direct to their players. Most of the time though both him and McCunnie were out of position or giving their players way too much time. Their left winger by the way, Dyer? was very impressive.

Jumboadder please tell me you are joking. None of the balls he dealt with were difficult. His passing is atrocious, never finds a man, his marking is shocking, he needs to learn to close down. They had Howard, possibly the best player for winning balls in this league and yet neither full back closed down the wingers so stop the supply to Howard. You really need think if you theone who was licking windows on the way home if you thought humphreys was better than Monkhouse. As already said we were average and they did not look good apart from Dyer really. We did not test their keeper enough to find out if he was any good. Our defence is basically a shambles and if you look the goals scored away we are in a for a terrible season if our home form is not good
